Spring

I love spring.  This year we are enjoying some really good spring weather, with bright, sunny days.  The trees are greening up and the world is turning green once more.  There are lots of familiar flower in gardens, such as daffodils and crocuses, but the flower that always makes me smile is the snake's head fritillary.  No other flower as the same kind of checker board markings found on this one - and it means that spring is here again.
